Cancellation and Transfer Requests

All requests for cancellations, refunds, changes or transfers to enrolments must be requested in writing to [email protected].

Cancellations and Transfers Due to Coronavirus

The modifications implemented due to coronavirus allow for waiving of administration fees where a course is postponed, or travel to the venue is not possible due to government mandated restrictions. This does not include change of mind cancellations or company imposed restrictions which are subject to our Standard Cancellation and Transfer processes.

Where your state or jurisdiction or the state of jurisdiction of the training course is subject to government imposed restrictions at the time of the training course, and you are therefore unable to travel to or attend the training course, your options are as follows:

  • Contact us to discuss whether a credit or refund is available.
  • Defer to the next available course in your chosen/alternate location.
  • Convert to Distance Learning
  • Not applicable. Training can continue as per usual distance learning processes.

Confirmation of Registration

Confirmation will be sent by email four weeks prior to the commencement of the course. If you do not receive an email at this time please phone IPI Learning to confirm your registration. Participants who register less than 4 weeks before the commencement of the course will receive confirmation within 1-3 business days or payment being received.

Travel & Accommodation

Students are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. We advise students not to make any travel or accommodation arrangements until they have received written confirmation of the course. Up until this point dates and venues may change without notice.

IPI Learning accepts no liability for losses incurred as a result of changes to or cancellation of a course. This includes travel and accommodation costs for courses which must be postponed or cancelled due to government restrictions.

Course Cancellation (Initiated by IPI Learning)

Where IPI Learning is forced to cancel a course, learners will be entitled to transfer to another IPI course or receive a refund (refund does not apply to flexible learners who have commenced training).

IPI Learning accepts no liability for losses incurred as a result of changes to or cancellation of a course. This includes costs incurred for travel or accommodation that must be cancelled or amended.

General

The information provided by IPI Learning was correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change.

IPI Learning reserves the right to change course fees, dates, content, allocated trainers and assessor or method of delivery at its discretion.

IPI Learning reserves the right to video and/or audio record training delivery and assessment sessions for quality assurance purposes and to support students.

Distance Learners
Cancellation No refund is available after commencement.*

Students may request to “pause” access to their online training and recommence up to 6 months later.

Substitution In limited circumstances a student or organisation may request to transfer course position to another person within the same organisation. This must be prior to online modules being accessed and will be assessed on a case by case basis. Fees may apply.
Change to Learning Method Students may request to change to either Flexible or Classroom Learning. This is available in most circumstances and will be assessed on receipt of the request. Note that students who change to another learning method will be bound by the cancellation policy for Distance Learning.
Extenuating Circumstances
Individual cases of extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.

Extenuating circumstances may include but not be limited to:

1. Sickness or death in immediate family

2. Individual Medical circumstance

NOTE: A medical certificate or other equivalent documentation must be provided as evidence

^Note that the level of government mandated restriction/s must be higher at the time of training than those at the time of booking to apply to customer requests (i.e. if restrictions were eased or remained the same as those at the time the booking was made, then the request for cancellation would be subject to the standard Cancellation/Transfer policy).
Distance Learners
As per the Standard Cancellations and Transfers table. Distance Learning is not affected by physical movement restrictions and as such does not require any change to the booking policy.
